Jamie Shaw is a Sagittarius. Why is this important? Because you can't get a better picture of Jamie's life than by reading the definition of Sagittarius. She has never lived in the same city longer than 3 years during her entire time on this earth, and things show no sign of slowing down! She was born during the Winter Solstice in Cornwall Ontario. After graduating from Victoria Composite's Theatre Arts Program, she returned to Cornwall in 1990, and founded Dream Street Productions at the ripe old age of 19, a company that attracted national media attention.  It was also during this time that she had a book of her poetry published in conjunction with a local artist. After one year as Artistic Director, Jamie stepped down to travel Europe, and attend The American Musical and Dramatic Acadamy. Dream Street Productions still flourishes today. After Graduating from AMDA in 1993, Jamie once again returned to Canada, this time to Toronto, where she would go on to co-found CALLTIME, Canada's Premiere Entertainment Journal (a causualty of the Ontario Harris government cuts.) Disappointed by the machinations of the political world, and it's effect on the arts in Canada, she began working for the Medical Education Department at the University of Toronto, which brought her to Vancouver, and a job for The Medical Council of Canada. She then got her ESL certificate, and taught English for 2 years before going to Japan, being re-inspired, and ending up in Las Vegas, back in the entertainment industry. Which, of course, led her to Los Angeles.
